Rumors have been circulating online, stating that the NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors Training will commence on March 1st, 2023.
However, on February 6, 2023, the National Population Commission (NPC) planned to start training enumerators and supervisors. Due to various reasons, the training had to be rescheduled. Now, Mrs. Evelyn Arinola Olanipekun, the Director of Census, has provided a new start date for the training.
Is NPC Adhoc Staff Training Date 2023 Out?
While the NPC acknowledges the proposal for the schedule of the LGA Level Training for Enumerators and Supervisors, the commission has not yet finalized a new date for the training.
The National Population Commission will send invitations to the successful Enumerators and Supervisors to allow them to prepare in advance before the LGA Level Training begins.
Mrs. Olanipekun suggested that Trainers and Trainees continue communicating via their individual class WhatsApp platforms. Each Trainer and Trainee will need to engage in self-learning sessions and virtual classroom training will be scheduled before the LGA-level training.

NPC Adhoc Staff Training Requirements
Here are the requirements for the NPC training.
- NPC training manual (download from this link).
- Invitation email/SMS (check yours from this link).
- National Identification Number (NIN) (check here).
- Functional e-mail address and phone number.
- A bank account linked to BVN.
- Slip printed after NPC registration.
- NPC application code (e.g., NPC-CE-93802140510).
- Writing materials.
- Valid means of identification.
- Documents uploaded during registration.
Please ensure you have a functional bank account with any commercial bank in Nigeria, such as First Bank, Access Bank, UBA, GTB, Zenith, etc.
Note that Students or NYSC accounts are not acceptable. Additionally, all applicants are expected to be computer literate or, at the very least, know how to use a smartphone and tablet.

After the 2023 Presidential Election, the NPC will publish the new training date. Approved NPC Enumerators and Supervisors should constantly check for invites to self-paced courses and online training sessions.
